The collaboration between Elton John and Australian dance band Pnau has finally spawned a video.

The video for SAD is pretty abstract, with high-contrast, saturated images of pianos, waterfalls and other presumably meaningful stuff. It’s quite cool, though (yes, even in spite of Elton John).

The video features rapper A$AP Rocky, who plays former US President John F. Kennedy, while Del Rey plays his wife Jacqueline Kennedy.

A$AP Rocky has previously said that the video is “Some cool trippy shit, some real 2015 shit. People are going to get it in three years, and that’s the whole purpose of it.”

Lana Del Rey will release the single, ‘National Anthem’, on July 8. The track is the latest to be taken from her debut LP, ‘Born To Die’, which was released at the start of the year.

A$AP Rocky and Lana Del Rey previously collaborated on a track called ‘Ridin”, which is mooted to appear on A$AP Rocky’s debut album, set to be titled ‘Long Live A$AP’.

Earlier this month Lana Del Rey played Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre and debuted a brand new song, ‘Body Electric’, at the show. She will play Latitude Festival in Suffolk on July 13

The result is a video that follows A.$.A.P. Rocky through a dreamy fantasy world filled with 40s, Ferraris, homies and hoards of cash.
